The Gates of Passage

The Gates of Passage are gnomish devices that allow for teleportation across distances. Originally they were found in all the different kingdoms and spread out across the continent, but eventually we learned that they exist elsewhere as well. It was also learned that the few gates in existence the more powerful the existing ones become. In recent times gates have been dismantled to this end. Travance has recently uncovered pieces of the original gate crafted long ago in ancient times and using these pieces that have recreated The Master Gate. Although it is far from complete it holds powers over other existing gates and it is rumored to be able to take one to places well beyond the scope of imagination.
