The Chaos Wastes

The Chaos Wastes were once home to the Kingdom of Lumena, ruled over by King Valos Gosteli. Since his death and ascension to godhood, the kingdom was destroyed and razed to become a wasteland of wild and aberrant powers that sheltered the citadel ruled by Necrophitus Arkane. The wastelands span to the far reaches of the Ashgaard Mountains that surround the landscape.
The Wastes are a place that is ever-shifting and erratic in its nature. The land churns and changes, sometimes erupting with violent supernatural energies that shape the land into giant all-consuming maws or ignite into flames and spread like wildfire. Other times, the land turns to a molten quicksand, slowly drawing the unwary creature in to its demise. The Chaos Wastes are mostly devoid of life, save for the few aberrant beasts who are spawned and consumed by the wastelands.
The Chaos Wastes are an impossible place to live, let alone survive for longer than a few nights.
