The Cennian Guise, Mask of the First Lich

One of the first creations of Necrophitus' power, the Cennian Mask was crafted from the body of his student, Cennius.  Tricked into undeath, a fair portion of his soul and power was stripped away and formed into the mask.  The process had turned him into a new type of mystical undead never seen before on Arawyn.  Cennius had become a lich, and the mask was his phylactery.
The mask was capable of absorbing power and has other powers whose knowledge have been lost to time.  What is known, is that the mask is capable of corrupting those near it, almost forcing those with magical power to covet it.  Those who don the mask become a lich themselves, able to control all the power it had amassed.  To this day, the mask has been hidden away after the discovery of what it was capable of accomplishing.
