Taure En' Draug

Taure En' Draug, also known as the Forest of the Elves, is a lush, green expanse of woodland that stretches for miles. The trees are tall and thick, their canopies often so dense that the forest floor remains in near-constant shadow. The leaves are a rich shade of emerald, and the bark is gnarled and rough to the touch. The land is largely untouched by human hands, with the exception of a few small elven settlements scattered throughout the woods. These are often hidden, nestled among the trees and nearly invisible to outsiders.
The elves who live in Taure En' Draug are deeply connected to the forest and its magic. They believe that every tree has a spirit, and that the spirits of the dead can sometimes be found wandering among the trees. The elves are skilled hunters and trackers, and many make their living by selling the furs and meats of the animals that live in the forest. However, they are also deeply protective of their home and will fiercely defend it from anyone who seeks to harm it. The forest is both beautiful and dangerous, with many magical creatures and dark powers lurking in the shadows.
