Master Crown
The first creation of the Ancients of Halcandra in their efforts to bring the first NOVA to life, the Master Crown was designed as a conduit for great power. It was intended to remain non-sentient, and simply to generate and store a greater amount of energy than any one individual could possibly harbor in a mortal form. Unfortunately, this raw magic repeatedly stored within the item gave it a consciousness of its own, and without the Ancient's intervention it warped its own intentions against their ideals.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
The crown is mostly made of sculpted gold, with a large, faceted gemstone in the center like the iris of an eye.
Significance
It is one of the unique crafts; no other similar object for this purpose was made for fear of a repeat experience and compounded danger. The Ancients simply placed heavier restrictions upon its use during their lifetimes, and placed it in the care of Landia when they saw their own imminent fall.
