The Gate-Keepers, in their endless and futile pursuit of mortal worship and dominance, attempt to amass new believers and somehow tempt The Veil Court t war. While this war isn't possible, The Veil Court selected mortal champions to thwart this plot and prevent the bloodshed these angels would have caused.
