The Second Moon and Second Life

As the subtle waves and currents of the world's waters grew, the glaciers slowly began shifting. In small surviving patches of nature which now held both spirit and mortal as one, new growth began to sprout. New, never before seen trees climbed through the snow. That night, a second light hung in the sky. Smaller than the sapphire but still a giant, the emerald moon.
