With the discovery of dreams and nightmares came greater questions, new mysteries, and the birth of philosophy. This led to new ways of life, as well as the exploration of new and unnamed concepts. Many looked to Sona and joined her in the exploration of identity. Lives became more unique. It was a beautiful time to be alive. However, the dead were now more dangerous than ever.
  Lost souls that weren't collected by Ereshi The Crow, now lingered on mortal plane, many of them bound by feelings of envy for the living, or fear of what might await them. This changed them, made them hateful of the living. They became strange, terrifying manifestations of their own nightmares, known as Demons.
