Kathar's Cult

During Kathar's disappearance, he lost his corporeal form, becoming something similar to a spirit. However, unlike spirits, he found he could access the slumbering minds of mortals. Upon discovering this new ability, he began invading people's dreams, giving them nightmares about death and making them doubt what they knew about the shepherds and The Underworld. He conjured visions of his mothers as cruel, wicked monsters that eat souls, or torture them. After a few months of this, people began to speak his name, and ask him to save them from death. They made offerings, his favorite of which, was their blood.
