Mt. Oru
The volcano that rests on the western side of Ulahi Valley. Tall and dormant, the peak of this mountain goes above the clouds. According to legend, it is named for Oru, the great phoenix, who calls it's peak home despite it's summit and caldera being home to Ka'Ulahi and her children. According to legend, every full moon for the red moon Rei, Oru flies at the mountain peak and the two dance the sky together.
Geography
The mountain is 75,000 feet high, and as vast as a country. It's volcanic in it's origin, but time and magic has altered it in every way. Wild Magic and Life springs, rare material deposits, and more multi-planar activity than anywhere else this side of Izogie.
