"Betti" is considered the strongest woman in her home village of Klynn, and heralded as a local hero for how quickly and enthusiastically she leaps into the face of danger to protect her people. She seems to love the thrill of combat, and makes a show of it whenever faced with something she doesn't view as a threat. In her eyes, she's a role model and a shield for her people.
Betti is a true believer in the importance of life, refusing to kill her enemies unless they themselves have taken an innocent life. She is a Shield of Asenath and hopes to one day be welcomed into "The Hero's Peace" the supposed afterlife that await Asenath's most devoted warriors. Despite her devout faith, she has never spoken to Asenath, which doesn't seem to bother her at all.
