Fort Drelev

The half-fortified city of Fort Drelev was founded by the Baron Hannis Drelev as part of his charter under Lady Jamandi Aldori dividing the Stolen Lands into quarters for each of the founding charters. After sustaining repeated attacks by the vampire and undead mobs led by Silas Torneau, and being unable to fend off the attacks by losing the majority of the town's clergy and druids, Baron Drelev contracted with the River Kingdom of Pitax to get a mercenary guard to serve as city watch and enforce the town's curfew. Beyond that Baron Drelev locked himself away in the Keep with his wife Pavetta and his mistress Quintessa Maray.

The Bredenham party consisting of Ilja, Greep, Don, and Adelina went to treat with Baron Drelev, and were summarily dismissed. Adelina recognizing the Baron's indifference to the plight of his people and leaving them insufficiently protected, while enjoying the safety and security of his stone fortress, decided it was time for his governance to end. After eliminating the vampire threat from Torneau Tower, the party returned and confronted Baron Drelev about his cruelty and negligence. Don bought off the mercenary guards, who immediately left the keep. Then in the midst of combat Don convinced Quintessa that she would be more suited to assisting in developing the curriculum at the Bardic College in Silverspell. Which she agreed was better than dying in combat. With only Baron Dreleve, Pavetta, and her dog Jewel, they were swiftly defeated by the party and Baron and Baroness Drelev were clapped in irons and led to the dungeons to await a public trial. Adelina, a circuit riding independent judge, offered to oversee the trial of Baron Drelev, to be prosecuted by the Priestess of Calistria, Satinder Morne. The Baron was found guilty of negligence and sent back to Restov in irons to be dealt with by swordlord Lady Jamandi Aldori for violation of his charter.
