The emergence of the Unsidhe Fae, and the beginning of recorded history.

Little is known about the catastrophic event that began the Age of Frost. Many scholars argue that it was brought on by a cosmological shift, or some sort of magical phenomena. What is known is the Sunfade was that it heralded the arrival of the Unsidhe in Bellia, and plunged the continent into the Howling Winter, a storm which all but barely blotted out the sun and created the Maelstrom that surrounds the known world.
