Amidst the animosity of two formerly warring cultures, the Unsidhe make their move.

Utilizing the animosity bred between the Krel and Cierans in the aftermath the Krel Wars, the Unsidhe manage to destroy many settlements on a path to destroy Hearth. Knowing that the extinguishing of the Great Beacon would result in the demise of most if not all of their respective people, Krel and Cieran begrudgingly band together to hold the line at the Siege of Hearth. It was at the peak of this siege, a small contingent of rangers descended upon the host of Thralls the Unsidhe had rasied, and slew the Fae commander of the enemy army. This was the first contact both the Krels and Cierans would have with the Wylds.
