Sweetwater Springs

As we stepped into the cave, I felt an overwhelming sense of ease wash over me. The place was not particularly beautiful, a small pool frothing white as water fell down from above. Upon closer inspection, I found the water to be hot, but not unpleasantly so. We drank deeply, and almost instantly found ourselves in far better spirits before choosing to press onwards.

Manifestation

Sweetwater springs are typically identified by their inexplicable warmth in spite of a lack of notable geological activity. In some instances, a faint golden glow can also be seen emanating from the water's source. Springs also dull the sound of the The Siren's Song in the immediate area, allowing anyone within the vicinity a brief respite that otherwise would have to be provided by a Beacon.

Localization

Sweetwater springs are a rare, fixed phenomenon limited to their physical location. Little is known as to the conditions that form a spring, and research into the field is barred without explicit permission from the Rona, as previous reckless research has destroyed three of these treasured safe havens.
