Burning Palace

The Burning Palace is the home of the Sun god, Astyx. Hung high in the sky, the flames of its walls are the source of daylight in the realm of the living.
The Burning Palace is said to be an opulent affair, and though its walls burn brightly, the inside is said to remain a comfortable temperature for all inside, if a little warm. The layout of the Palace is said to be larger than any city on the face of Pyroeis, with many outbuildings, gardens, and chambers. Even a lifetime of a god may not be enough to get familiar with all of it.

Fauna & Flora

Like the other heavenly objects, there are creatures in the Burning Palace that exist nowhere else. One of the most common animals are the flame cats. These appear to be relatively normal cats that are constantly aflame. They roam the grounds, lounging and consuming small fires and keeping the Palace from consuming itself.
