Blightstorm

Blightstorms are a direct result of the toxic environment that The Blight creates. Blightstorms have been known to raise the dead, cause water to flow uphill, raise or lower the mana level of an area, either temporarily or permanently, transform animals into mutants or dire versions of themselves,  drive intelligent persons to madness, and many other effects.
Luckily the transformative properties of a blightstorm have no effect on the physical form of intelligent races, and only affect their minds temporarily.

Manifestation

Similar to a regular storm, blightstorms range in size and strength from minor rains that cause bizarre magical effects to hurricane-force winds that can blow flying cities off course and can, within the area of the storm, alter the laws of reality.

Localization

An effect of The Blight's toxic enviroment, blightstorms are fortunately limited to The Blight and it's surrounding area.
