Midsummer Festival

A summer solstice festival honoring Saint Bernard St Bernard.
Healing herbs and flowers are picked for drying and fashioned into crowns and ornaments. Crowns are worn for good health, and church groups visit hospitals and the ill to decorate their rooms with flowers and herbs.
Great bonfires are built and lit in the evening, and crowns are tossed into the flames as marrowbones roast for a feast of marrow, roast meats, avocados, and traditional herbal beers and meads.
