John P. Hale
John P. Hale was an American politician who served as the eleventh Chancellor of America from 1846 to 1850. During his tenure, he increased the number of federal troops in the previously rebelling states as many of the white settlers had been harassing the recently freed people of color. Though his economic policies of increasing the funding for Henry Clay's American Policy saw America come out of the Economic Panic of 1844, his measures to use federal troops to force racial integration was widely unpopular.
