USCS Central Intelligence Agency / Unusual Incidents Unit

Often likened to as the "Men in Black" by the citizenry of the United Sword Coast States, the Central Intelligence Agency is the nation's security and espionage agency, with eyes and ears both internally and internationally. Their mission is to keep the nation safe, and to keep a watchful eye on their enemies across the globe. Within the CIA is the Unusual Incidents Unit, a wing of the Agency specifically built for handling anomalous and magical threats, made up of both researchers and combat groups.

The CIA and the UIU work closely with groups like the HFSCP and the Hunter's Guild, often collaborating on certain hunts after powerful, dangerous individuals, and some anomalies are contained in CIA "Black Sites", where they exercise their more cold, brutalist method of containment.

The Current Agency Director is a Changling Woman by the name of Madeleine Winterborne, often presenting as a tall, slender elven lady. She works closely with the President of the USCS, as well as any organizations she may be affiliated with.
