1791: The Flattening of Daggerford
It was a quiet, peaceful night in the Cultural, Historical City of Daggerford. Centuries of history and revelry, and a citizenry that take pride in their home.
By the morning, it was all gone.
The Icons of Fuxi, as part of a grander plan, struck Daggerford with new experimental weaponry, what witnesses could only describe as great "Striders". They obliterated the cities defences, and even the mobilized Foundation Defence within Sitio Grannagon nearby was completely decimated. What was left moved to instead evacuate who they could, while holding the Fuxites back where they could.
The City on Eleasis 19 had a population of 1.5 Million. On the Morning of Eleasis 20, 190,000 were still left alive, and the city was abandoned. Fuxite Forces made the ruins a base of their own, repurposing the materials of the city into creating fortresses and bunkers, and bolstering their own war machine.
Miathar, at the pressure of the Sacred Council, declared a FK "Global Shift of Power" Scenario, though made sure to voice her disagreement with the idea. The war would escalate with the Fuxites at levels not seen since the opening years of the war back in 1699, but with the HFSCP on the back foot. The manpower shortage would be answered by Project: Diligence, Project: Vanguard and most notably, Project: Brainwave. A notable victim of Brainwave was soon to be Mistress of the Great Hunt and a Lady Superior of House Ceadda, Arenta Tjord.
