Cayden Winter
Cayden is one of the main characters in the Werewolf Days series, which includes Werewolf Days of Summer, Werewolf Days Book 1 and Werewolf Days of Christmas, Werewolf Days Book 2.

Personal history
Cayden's parents died when he was a toddler and he was raised by his grandparents. Due to their religious and social ideas, he repressed his sexuality until he was in college. There he met his junior year roommate, John, who he began a sexual relationship with. Unfortunately, John was controlling and abusive, setting the tone for their eight-year relationship. After the death of his grandparents within a year of each other, Cayden came into a significant amount of money he hadn't known had been set aside for him.
Sexuality
Cayden is gay, though it took him a long time to come to terms with it due to his grandparents' homophobia. This meant he had to hide his relationship with John and could not ask them for help in leaving him if he had wanted to.
Employment
Cayden works in web design more for something to do than because he needs the money, thanks to his grandparents.
Mental Trauma
Being in an abusive relationship that lasted over five years has made attempting to move on rather difficult.
