Elaine the Fallen

Most elves within the Luminated Alliance know the name of Elaine the Fallen. Songs and poems have been written and performed praising her brutality on the battlefield during the Great War.

Elaine is a skilled and agile fighter, adept in hand-to-hand combat and a variety of weaponry. She has dedicated herself to disciplined practice and training ever since she was young. Her goal is absolute perfection. Any flaw she sees in herself, she works hard to iron out.

Elaine's parents, merchants in a small village near Aes'Tos, were taken hostage and killed by a rogue squad of Dwar Fell soldiers. She was only a teenager at the time and immediately joined the forces of the Luminated Alliance in the hopes for revenge.

Elaine's title, "the Fallen," refers to her choice to forsake the religion of her family. Although she cares deeply for the Luminated Alliance as her home and her people, she rejects the Temple of Ziva. She doesn't believe that goddess who allowed the atrocity of her parents' death deserves her worship or service.

Personality

Although Elaine took the time to learn the magical arts in combat, she rarely uses them. She sees magic as borrowing power and much prefers to utilize her own strength and developed skills.

Elaine has always been devoted and loyal to the Luminated Alliance and makes it a point to never trust outsiders. She suspects betrayal at every turn and has difficulty building relationships with people from other backgrounds.
