If you listen to things like our grandparents told us, life used to be easy. The world was its own oyster, with an abundance of everything and nothing to worry about. No wars, relative peace. The easy life. If only it were that easy. That's not the hand we were dealt here. RNG threw us no bones. Our world is a rotten one. Corrupt corporations, ever-expanding androids making humans obsolete, and rampant crime around any corner. Such is the life of modernity, eh? It doesn't matter. We're all stuck in this mess together, and we make it, day by day. How, why? Those are questions for the anthropologists of the future. If there even is a future that comes out of this wasteland.
