Zakibian

The people native to Zakib, Zakibians are a caramel skinned people who are well adapted to life in the Kingdom of the Sun's hostile environs. They have their own language, known as Sunaj. Zakibian culture does not have an official religion, though many choose to follow the Ring of Divinity, specifically the god known as Sorbek, God of the Sun and Fire.

Zakibians are also known for their unique burial ritual, known as Xersha Sorai, which translates to Sun Birth. In this ritual, the deceased is wrapped in dried cloth and taken into the desert before sunrise. The deceased is then buried in a mound of Zakibian sand which, at sunrise, causes the body to ignite, cremating the body over the course of the day.
