Horese

The people of Hori, the Cherry Kingdom, are a proud culture consisting of two distinct clans; the Laos Family and the Haven-Flayers. These two clans, while originating from the same founding group, have developed a hatred for eachother throughout the Resource Wars which has resulted in civil war many times. These wars often revolve around who gets to control Hori's resources, as the kingdom has the smallest borders of the 15 Kingdoms.

Horese people often spend their time studying fine arts, as the most beautiful paintings and songs in the realm are known to come from Hori. The people of Hori hold the concepts of family, honor, and humility above all else, and will start conflicts over the infringement of these values. These conflicts are often thwarted by the Renyuan, an independent clan of wandering peacekeepers who seek to keep conflict from consuming the people of the Cherry Kingdom.

In 2000 AGJ, the Laos Family initiated another civil war over Hori's iron supply, which was controlled by the Haven-Flayers. In a bloody revolt, the Laos family dispatched the Renyan and overthrew the Haven-Flayers, burning them out of their family home in Vesu. The result of this defeat was a forced mass exodus of Haven-Flayers from Hori into Emyel, the neighboring country.

Hori has no official religion and their official language is Tao-Yuan.
