Goblins in Kiera

Along with Orcs and Hobgoblins, the Goblins of Kiera were created by Fuurak in an attempt to combat the Star Elves and their takeover of Kiera. Due to this, Goblins have always enjoyed destruction. They especially enjoy when that destruction involves an explosion (or five). After the Star Elves disappeared, Fuurak's Children rampaged through the lands. War had been their only purpose, and it took decades for the races to find any sort of collective identity. While the other two found what could arguably be called positive identities, Goblins decided to embrace chaos.  

Society

Government

Goblins live in small tribes, lacking any real leadership. Instead Goblins all tend to follow three general rules.
  1. Fuurak is the greatest!
  2. Protect the tribe!
  3. Explosions solve MOST problems!
Following these three rules has caused Goblin "governing" to be remarkably communal. As well as remarkably violent.  Most intra-tribal problems are solved either with words or with bombs, and the "winner" of an argument is often just the Goblin left alive at the end.  

Religion

Goblin religion consists of crude dragon effigies, fire, and explosions. Goblinkind has developed several rituals involving either setting fire to, or blowing up, an effigy of Fuurak in order to attempt to curry favor with him.  

Physical Description

Goblins are small humanoid creatures with slightly oversized heads, long pointed ears, and many sharp teeth. Their eyes appear somewhat small compared to the rest of their features. Goblin's skin ranges in color from a dusky blue to a bright green, and their eyes can be either red, orange, or pure black. Most often, Goblins clothe themselves in leather and furs, decorated with trophies of important kills. These range from wolf teeth to elf ears, to even stranger trophies. There are stories of one Goblin making a necklace to display the phallus of a bear they had managed to kill single-handedly.

Goblins like names that sound like explosions, or sound tough.

Adventurers

Goblins often become adventurers because they want to get new ingredients for explosives, or just because they felt like it. Some Goblins will have concrete goals in mind when they go adventuring. These are often a single goal that they want to accomplish, and they usually get distracted along the way before eventually reaching it.
