Khlöe of Karpóní̱sos is the only known living miracle of Indira. Her "parents" were the last descendants of a very wealthy family of orchard, vineyard, and plantation owners. They had been unable to conceive a child and were well beyond the age where they could do so naturally. The lifelong adherents of Indira made a sacrifice of their entire year's harvest, fervently prayed for a solution to their problem, and were rewarded with a very unique plant growing in their home garden. That plant bore a single fruit, which was Khlöe. As one would expect from a being made directly by the influence of the goddess of nurturing and soil, Khlöe has an even more impressive green thumb than her adoptive parents and guided the business she would eventually inherit into an even more impressive agricultural empire. Today she has among the smallest holdings on Karpóní̱sos, but they are incredibly bounteous and fertile that her quantity of produce falls in the upper third, and the quality and diversity is such that she is the wealthiest landowner on the island by a large margin. By all reports she has the kind and personable temperament of her creator as well, becoming the most popular person on her home island as well. Recently there have been calls for her to stand for the local elections, but it is not currently possible because her mandatory military service has been repeatedly deferred due to her importance in supporting the enormous city's food needs.
