Captain Kypris still holds the record for the youngest appointment to captain among all the Kasmene companies. If she even knows herself, she's never told a soul how or why her eyes are so unique, but her supernatural eyesight was instrumental in her rise and remains an enormous boon for her and her company. She has never lost an archery contest to a human, and once the strength and coordination aspects are removed and simple visual acuity is tested alone not even elves or aarakocra can hope to match her. Her incredible skills in archery and scouting are not only a direct benefit to her company, but she has attracted enormous numbers of others skilled in those areas, and these days her rebranded Vigilant is made up almost entirely of gifted scouts and light cavalry. She wields significant power beyond her company's size by simply choosing which potential recruits to accept and effectively controlling the supply of skilled scouts for all of the companies.
