Personal history
Captain Isodemos is not a particularly flashy man: his childhood and early history are indistinguishable from hundreds of other Kasmene mercenaries, his physicality is average for a career soldier, and apart from a slight leaning towards a stoic manner his personality isn't particularly noteworthy. What Isodemos has always had going for him is intellect, cunning, and toughness which he was able to leverage into survival and success long enough to also acquire knowledge and wisdom. The Fox earned his epithet the hard way, and along with it has come leadership of the largest company on the Kasmene rolls and command of the largest power bloc in the Captains' Council. Kasmenetros has never had a king, and may not in the future, but no man has ever been so close in practice as Isodemos is today. The captain is known to defer tactical command to his officers, even in battles where he's present, preferring to personally handle only strategic level planning and making a reputation for himself as one of the most brilliant strategists in Hellenis.
Education
Isodemos never had any formal education, learning letters from an older soldier when he was a boy and everything else from books or trial, error, and hard knocks. In the subject of war, he's had a hands-on education for over three decades and so is an easily recognizable expert without any sort of diploma.
