Like all the metahumans of the Familias Maior, Ariadne metahumans vary from individual to individual, with the general trend that the younger or more recent individuals have more and "better" features than those that came before. Ariadne metahumans do possess a general commonality that makes them stand out from their peers: House Ariadne tends to favor subtler modifications, the prime example of this being that of the last several dozen candidates for Imperator, only theirs did not have wings. Ariadne metahumans have historically looked like very fit and attractive humans in every regard: two arms, two legs, two eyes and ears, etc., etc., etc. The difference only becomes apparent when you notice that they can see perfectly in the dark for several miles, or that iron blades fail to pierce their skin.
Like the humans that form the basis of their DNA, metahumans can successfully reproduce with all known sapient beings. Ariadne metahumans are notably strange in that they are not noticeably more fecund than baseline humans. House Ariadne prefers quality over quantity and arranges pregnancies in laboratories when they decide an addition to the bloodline is warranted.
Ariadne metahumans mature more quickly than regular humans, and stay at peak condition for much longer. Valerian seems to have stopped aging entirely.
Like most metahumans from the Great Houses, Ariadne metahumans require far less food and water than a normal human, though the extent of this can vary wildly.
