Personal history
Amarhyllis' mother was a well respected member of Libria's magocracy, but her father was a jarl of Valhelm passing through and his blood runs strongly through her veins. This has been both a blessing and a curse for her in the intelligence community she belongs to, making her readily identifiable and memorable, but not in a way that would make anyone think of Libria. It was that exact concern that led to her remaining a well respected but deniable field agent past the time any other agent would have been able to return to the capital and move upwards in the hierarchy. The rise of the Unifier gave her an opportunity to sidestep this particular impediment in exchange for the well timed demise of her former overseer. Archelaos' first official act as Archon was to name her first among his consorts and chief of his diplomatic and intelligence agencies.
Education
Amarhyllis partook of Libria's schooling for a few years, but the moment her talent for stealth and secrecy was discovered, and talent for magic confirmed, she was pulled from the usual programs to begin preparation for a career in clandestine services.
