Zholtan

Zholtan is a precious metal, sought after by magicians and engineers alike. In its pure form, the metal is weak but very heat-resistant. In certain crystallized forms, the material is popular among psionicist tribes in Uktaria. Labarean engineers used the material in the construction of their mechanized infantry and cavalry.
There are various zholtan operations in Laeryll, with most of the product traditionally originating from The Porcupine or Fist Mountains. Bothandal's Mine in King's Swamp was the greatest source of zholtan on the Northern Arm, when it was still active.
The zholtan coming from Fist Mountains is embedded in crystal complexes of many elements. Crystals such as these are particularly popular among the psionic tribes of Uktaria.
