Bitt
Bitt is a black, foam-like material that is harvested from mines and underwater sources. It becomes a viscous fluid when heated and can be molded under those circumstances. If treated properly, Bitt can be used as a fuel, yet its most common application is in shipbuilding: melting Bitt and treating it with oils turns it into a paint-like material that can be used to waterproof ships.
