Vaen forgotten
The Vaen were easy enough for the people of Keverynn to forget. They weren't a part of their society for very long before they made their mass exodus and they left very little traces of themselves behind. Without any proper evidence, the Vaen were swiftly forgotten as though they'd never existed. Had the Vaen themselves been aware of this, it's likely they'd have been pleased by this outcome.
