The Ruby Tear
During an Impetus event, energy rips through the world at the Ruby Cradle (formerly known as the "Cradle"), forming a Tear that reaches deep into the earth.
Harengon, Fairies and other fey touched creatures appear and start to migrate Keth'Rend.
The tear’s influence changes the regional flora and fauna. Especially the aquatic life all over the Ruby Cradle becomes different, with new species of fish entering the eco system as well as changes in size, behaviour, colour and tastiness of existing creatures.
With the tear also comes a strange disease called the Ruby Rot that plagues parts of the Ruby Cradle with random outbreaks of a coral growth which emits spores, turning every living being inhaling them into mindless creatures overgrown with corals.
The region seems to have a strong connection to the Feyrealm.
