Onyx Session V Report

General Summary

The party, given their mission by Theren, wakes up the next day and goes to visit Peggy in Blightown. Through a book made out of humanoid skin, they discover conversations from three years ago in Boston. However, Ughus's handling of the book turned him from Chaotic Neutral into Neutral Evil, the same alignment as Peggy Mudhallow. Through the book, they discover:

• Igval Coarseskin has a son who might have ties to Nite

• Kalvo Deko works for a fight club that Nite supposedly makes money off of and Onyx knows nothing about

• Bilvo Dako is a 5th Southern War veteran who fights in the fight club

• Yvette Lightstone: The backer of Onyx in Boston

• Ebon Hardheart: A warhawk who hates the uncontrollable criminal element. Some of his men were killed by Duergar in the Arkis Mines

• Dinathor Proudshield: Brother to Inggiel who smuggles goods into Boston for his sister and the guards so they can get weapons and armor cheap

• Regis Slator: A mysterious halfling who has some connection to Igval, Kalvo, and Bilvo. He hasn't been seen for 3 years since some incident in his manor and it's locked up tight as a result.

When they decide to head to North Boston, they discover it is closed down on word from the Northern Guards. It almost ends in a fight but Odette and Cori remember that a man named Edward Callehad had a pass into norhtern Boston. When they go to get his pass, they discover that he's a serial killer, hunting down Kitsune and taking their tails for some ritual that has Odryn, Odette's mother, connected to it somehow.
With the pass forged, Ughus heads off with Surddol to get into Northern Boston. The girls, however, decide to go after the serial killer, discovering he was mentally insane and had some connection to psionics. Through a grueling battle, they kill him and in his death, he teleports them across the city.
Odette is left in Deckspear City, heading to the tavern to wait for the others.
Cori was teleported to Urikas' Farms and solved the riddle of Slator's manor, now heading back to let the others know.
Marian was teleported to Falgin's Estates and through some unfortunate incidents, was arrested and brought to the dungeon in Vimdirth Keep.
