Staff of Good Luck Item in Kerawa | World Anvil

Staff of Good Luck

Overview

The Staff of Good Luck was once an ordinary staff that was crafted by an average elven cleric when his original staff broke while battling skeletons that took up residence in his church's cemetery. While this cleric's name has been lost to time, his deeds were written down in the lore of the church.   When his staff broke, he picked up a branch from the sacred tree that grows in the cemetery. Using the branch, the cleric defeated with this sacred stick and a bit of good luck. The cleric took the branch back into the church, blessed it with holy water, and prayed over it for a fortnight. His deity blessed the staff and left him a gemstone that radiates good luck. He carved the branch into a staff, inscribed runes into it, and hung a gemstone on it. This staff didn't leave his side until his death.   Now, it is given to a cleric that is blessed by their deity. It will appear to the cleric upon their blessing, with the knowledge on how to use it.
