The local tabloid is called the Lamp lighter a hodgepodge of conspiracy theorists, cryptids, and tabloid garbage. It is run by Wilma Thepin a old woman with a penchant for the paranormal. It uses mail in stories so only has a skeleton crew of reporters the only regular of which is Kirby.
