Bears of The Realms

Bears are powerful, furred carnivorous animals. There are various species that can be found in all of Kelldoria's climate zones. They include the powerful, Brown grizzly bear found in forested hills of all Countries across the realms, but are more common in the regions of the Northern Wastes, Amoria and The Stormlands.
Their smaller Black Bear cousins can be found anywhere in the realms and are common in the Savage Northern regions, Amoria and The Stormlands, and the White Bears of The Northern Wastes, who can be found mostly within the high Northern regions. Cave Bears, also known as Dire bears or short-faced bears, are more powerful versions of their lesser cousins found far from civilization.
Bears are sometimes found as the animal companions of Druid's, Ranger's, or other professions with close ties to the animal kingdom, especially among the Dwarven race, The Gnome races, Goblinoids, The Orc clans and tribes, and Humans.

Anatomy

Beast, Bear: Brown bears have huge bodies of thick Brown fur, large heads with small facial features, four legs ending in sharp claws. they run and hunt on four legs, but if needed to fight will stand on the two hind legs to look more powerful using their height as an advantage

The Brown grizzly bear can be found in forested hills, and mountain foot hills of all Countries across the realms, but are more common in the regions of the Northern Wastes, Amoria and The Stormlands.
