Naginata and Yari

Two different spear designs, the yari is very similar to the average spear, though it has a wide variety in head shapes. The naginata, on the other hand, resembles a sword mounted on a pole. It's perhaps more comperable to the halberd. These weapons are much more frequently used in battle. The naginata is a particular favortie of the samurai, when they aren't using their bows and guns of course.
