within terms of rase

Each rase has magic abilities that are, always, common, uncommon, rare, super rare, and almost impossible.
they are all based on elements, for example, a rase with water as a common power. the common powers could be healing.
The uncommon, powers would be Ice, Light, psychic, night, weather, and wind.
then rare would be Electric and nature.
then, super rare, Dark, earth, and, Time.
almost impossible would be Fire.

How overall magic is decided

Magic, in a person, is stronger based on their parent's magical strength. but it is possible to have stronger magic than their parents, by a large margin but that is very rare. Most times one child, born of their parents, is stronger than their parents by a small margin, then the most other kids are equal to one of their parents or take the average of the 2 parents power.
