Session 17 Report

General Summary

4th Camue

Party started in the Rythey Castle, deciding what to do with/about the two Naga that were contained within. Spent the rest of the day studying in the library, looking for reference to Naga and Yuan-ti.

5th Camue

After a long discussion, they decided to leave the Naga for the time being, moving a book case in front of the door to hide the room they are contained in.   Afterwards, they departed to return to Calchester, opting to head south around the Lost Mountains.

6th Camue

They were ambushed in the middle of the night by a group of goblins, which they dispatched.

7th Camue

Came across a small glade with a shrine to Ehlonna which had been poisoned, along with a dying Unicorn. The party managed to complete the ritual to cleanse the pool and saved the Unicorn from an agonizing death. The unicorn regrew Cirrus's missing arm, but said that his blinded was due to magic and thus not curable by him.   Sebastian also asked if the Unicorn might know of a way to bring Zopha back. After a brief consideration, he told Sebastian to take an acorn, bathe it in the pool, and plant it in a safe place. The wood of the tree that will grow would serve as an adequate vessel for Zopha's power.

8th Camue

The party arrived in Calchester and sought an audience with Ivan Eastgard as soon as possible. Upon meeting with him, they informed him that Rythey had been cleared of the undead and that they were in possession of the orb that was causing the corruption. While he was not excited about the prospect of it being present, he was happy to hear the news.   Sebastian was granted the land and title of the Baronete of Rythey.   Ivan was also very interested in the Book of Knowledge that the party is in possession of, knowing that often intelligence about opponents is the key to victory in war.
