The Creation Myth of the Mer

The one race who creation myth differs is the Merpoeple. They do not worship the twin goddesses though they acknowledge their supremecy as they regard them as distant and cold. Their own myths say that when the goddesses created the land and sea, the power in the sea was such that a new goddess arose, not a distant creature of magic, but a being of this earth, and when she saw the creatures that the twin goddesses had created she drew on her magic to create creatures of her own, who would live with her in the sea.
