In the depths of Brighthold's criminal underbelly, a power vacuum emerged when a brutal gang of orkin, led by a menacing beholder, was decisively dismantled on the orders of King Caelan Brightflame IX. Their reign of terror had long cast a shadow over the city, leaving its inhabitants in constant fear. However, a band of unlikely heroes, brought together by fate, rose to the challenge and embarked on a perilous journey to bring down the monstrous gang.
This motley crew of adventurers, guided by the Triumvirate's chosen warriors, ventured deep into the labyrinthine alleys and secret passages where the orkin gang had once thrived. Through courage, wit, and sheer determination, they emerged victorious, shattering the gang's stranglehold on the city. For over a decade, Brighthold basked in newfound peace and prosperity, attributing the victory to the Triumvirate's heroes and their mighty allies.

Yet, as the years passed, the void left by the gang's absence began to attract new forces, each seeking to seize control over the lucrative criminal enterprises. The criminal underbelly, resilient and cunning, wasted no time in attempting to fill the power vacuum. Rival factions sprouted like sinister weeds, each vying for dominance and supremacy, threatening to plunge Brighthold back into a state of unrest and uncertainty. Now, the once-thriving city finds itself teetering on the brink, as the struggle for control unfolds in the shadows, and the heroes who once brought light to the darkness must confront a new wave of challenges to preserve the hard-fought peace they secured.
Three major factions now vie for dominance. The Oathbreakers, comprised of former knights and soldiers, wield their combat expertise and military tactics to assert control. The Clockwork Syndicate, an underground group of inventors and engineers, employ deadly clockwork automatons and gadgets to wreak havoc. Finally, The Brood, a cunning gang of ratfolk residing in the city's sewers, are masters of poison and seek to fill the power vacuum with their fearsome influence. Amidst the glamorous facade of Brighthold, treachery and danger lurk in the shadows, as these gangs engage in a relentless struggle for supremacy in the bustling city.

The Tinkerer was defeated at the hands of a group of thieves known as the Coiled Grasp, and the automatons were freed from the yolk of his control. Moreover, the leader of the Oathbreakers, The Black Paladine, was slain by the Coiled Grasp, his horde and control of the docks were seized. Finally, the Coiled Grasp destabilized the Brood's hold on the sewers, placing the horde of rats firmly under their thumb, thus cementing a criminal legacy that will not soon be forgotten.
