Garret the Boiv, last words   Once considered a nuisance by the Gnomes, but then called to live together in the the River Kingdom by the gnome hero Blindersoot, and have slowly but steadily been working together for the betterment of the River Kingdom, their new home.   Small, wiry, but incredibly agile and with a keen mind, Kobolds in general are regarded as one if the most cunning miners and engineering species of Karash; whereas Dwarves have time-old traditions and experience of working with stone, Duskborn Elves rely on magic and Thaumaturge-Steam, and humans make innovations through trial and error, Kobolds have an intuitive knowledge of the earth and the caverns below.

History

Kobolds, alongside Gnomes, arrived in the Great Turtle realmship that crash-landed in the River Kingdoms, the first few raids against the gnome communities began some time later, eventually they stopped when leaders of both races began to talk.   Kobols argued that the Great Turtle was theirs, that they built it, and that they also wanted to leave the Feywild. And between them and Blindersoot, the Kobolds and Gnomes began to work side by side.

Common Myths and Legends

According to the Kobolds of the River Kingdom, while they do share a Draconic bond, there are not "dreamed" like the dragons; instead, they were created by a creature that embodies the very Idea of Dragons, they simply call her The Great Mother. However, like the gnomes, The Great Mother and her brood were prisoners of the Fae, and so, the Kobolds vowed to find a way to free her mother, and make the Fae pay for their time in the Feywild. So, they asked the Great Turtle for help, and left to the stars, only to find themselves in Karash, alongside a favored slave-race of the Fey: The Gnomes.   This was the reason why they fought against them.
