Temple of Moradin

Visible at the end of the forum of the living district, the Temple of Moradin is the largest in the city. Strong and imposing, the whitened stone gleams in the evening sun. In the courtyard before the entrance, a large statue rests. The statue depicts a large iron anvil, on top an elemental flame burns eternally (flame on an anvil is the symbol of Moradin).
The temple is run by Clan Frostbeard, who see the temple as their greatest obligation, perhaps after The Glacier Resevioir. The clans’ leader Dunbar Frostbeard, is the chief authority in the temple and master of ceremonies.

Purpose / Function

Primarily, the temple serves in the worship of Moradin and is Karak-Khan’s largest religious site after the Temple of Ladaguer.
However, the temple has also served as a neutral ground between the great clans, and other important organisations who need arbitration in the city. By custom, the ritual of order is performed here.
