Dunbar Frostbeard

(a.k.a. Asmaugus)

Dunbar Frostbeard is the head of Clan Frostbeard and patron of Frosthome. In a sense this makes Dunbar the foremost religious authority in Karak-Khan.   He is a soft spoken individual and has trouble getting around, but he speaks with confidence and authority with members of Clan Frostbeard often at his side.   DM NOTE: confidential, the ancient green Asmaugus kidnapped the true Dunbar Frostbeard and is now acting as his imposter. Dunbar is trapped in a magical chest, that sits in what is now Asmauguses chambers, in Frosthome.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Dunbar generally walks hunched over, he is old, even for a dwarf, and his movements and speech reflect that.

Facial Features

Dunbar is bald headed, but his beard is mighty and thick. Brass loops hold the beard into two major strands, showing his amulet of Moradin.

Apparel & Accessories

As defacto head priest of Moradin Dunbar wears clothes of an elder scholar. He wears a brass chain from which hangs a gear, the symbol of Moradin.

Motivation

Asmaugus remembers when the dwarves took the Dragontooth mountains from the dragons that rule it before. He seeks to disrupt Karak-Khan, shattering the stability of the elemental rift to get the dwarves to leave, or make them easier to subjugate.
