Greetings adventurers! I'm DMOverlord, your guide to immersive and unforgettable journeys in the world of Dungeons & Dragons. With 15 years of experience playing D&D and over 10 years as a Dungeon Master and 5k hours in Roll20.
Campaign Setting
I have Dungeon Mastered in many different campaign settings including well known published settings like Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dragonlance, and Exandria, as well as homebrew settings including Karagatan (current setting of server), Frea (previous setting of server), and Tandoria (a setting of my own making).
Dalethyr is wild and untamed, being patrolled by a group of rangers and druids in service to the king known as the Marked Wardens. Towns and villages dot the land separated by miles of wilderness. The center of trade and wealth in Dalethyr is the capital city of Durendreg, a city built into the base of Mount Immortal. The capital is guarded by the Iron Hammers, Dalethyr’s standing army and resident peacekeepers. During peace times Dalethyr’s mercenary army known as the Death Riders are hired out to other nations and organizations providing the kingdom with its most profitable export.
Game Style
My DM style is made up of interconnected storylines, rich lore, and complex NPCs. In my games player agency is key and actions matter. The actions/inaction of players changes the world around them.
Rules Mastery
As a seasoned Dungeon Master, I am well-versed in the rules of Dungeons & Dragons. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, I provide a supportive environment for everyone to learn, grow, and, most importantly, have fun. House rules are discussed transparently to ensure a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.
Communication
Open communication is key to a successful campaign. I maintain an open-door policy for questions, feedback, or clarify rulings.
