When Law Fails the Earth Shall Swallow You Whole

The surprisingly plain woman with ashen skin standing before the crowd of spectators wields the shortsword in her left hand as though it were an extention of her own body. Waist length black hair catches the bright midday sun and flows around her like a protective cloak that hides her precise movements from her adversaries and allows her to strike when others would withdraw.

Where Anyrax is seen, there's usually a reckoning about to happen. Deity of law and honorable destruction, she thrives on the satisfaction of defeating those who would use unjust means to abuse others. Patron deity of lawmakers and diplomats, when talking fails Anyrax isn't afraid to mete out justice at the end of a blade. Not particularly concerned with the wellbeing of other, she prefers a lawful v. unlawful method of justice, impartial and clear-cut.

Government buildings often have shrines to Anyrax, especially law enforcement and military structures. There are many myths involving her competetive relationship with Jit, and her ill-fated adventures with her sister, Braditt. She is also known to sometimes hinder great mortal leaders if their inentions are good but their leadership would end if folly. Although her guidance isn't always well received, she usually teaches a harsh but powerful lesson to those she interacts with - if they're worthy of helping. Otherwise you might just find that her patience isn't enough to keep you alive.

Divine Domains

Destruction:

Anyrax prefers the term 'organized deconstruction' when she lays waste to an opponent or region. She views this destruction as cleansing and prefers either melee combat or her control over earthen elements to smother miles of territory in a tidal wave of rock and dirt.

Earth:

The antithesis in many ways to her sister Braditt, Anyrax is attuned to the element of Earth. From fine manipulation of physical matter to sweepig transformations of entire regions, Anyrax can literally make mountains out of molehills.

Law:

A strict ally of Maenar, Anyrax adheres to a rigid code of ethics and will express their distain for chaos violently if necessary - and frequently even when it isn't 'necessary'.

Honorable Warfare:

Anyrax enjoys violence and the satisfaction of honorable combat. Her code of conduct and her desire for combat frequently conflict and so she seeks out those deemed worthy of her wrath as an excuse to vent her violence on those who deserve it.
